Winter has arrived in Newcastle - I know this because I saw my first puddle of frozen sick on the way into work this morning.

Other things that show the passing of one season to another?

I tuned in a little early to listen to Morrissey on Desert Island Discs this Sunday gone when I was doing some pre-festive season chores. Oh the horror of finding myself marzipanning a christmas cake whilst listening to The Archers.

Middle age is here.

Kill me.

Well Merry Christmas everyone if you're still lurking about in here.

Our snow and ice is finally starting to melt today (bit late now for getting out and about to do my Christmas shopping! Grrr.) I've had one fall in the ice (not drink related honest!!) so a bit bruised and aching but using drink to take the pain away.
