Hi everybody? Somebody? Anybody? Well, I made a promise so here you have a brief recount of the wonders of Justin's recent tour in the UK... In celebration of the US tour that starts today!!!! First of all, the setlist from Edinburgh's concert on the 22nd of May. The previous day in Sheffield was almost the same but it was a shorter set because of a fire alarm that went off between the supporter (Tommy Reilly) and Justin's performance. The place had to be evacuated for an hour but the people at the O2 Sheffield Academy permitted to go on after the curfew, so I think, only two or 3 songs were missing. In the hour out on the street Justin had time to sign autographs to practically all the audience... So here's the setlist: Ready To Be Can't Let Go of Her Now Just Like a Man As Long As you don't Come Back Anywhere I'm Away from You When I want You At Home Inside of Me The Last To Know You'll Always Walk Alone Here & Now A Man with Nothing to Do Everyone I Love Move Away Jimmy Blue Not Where It's At The Fight to Be Human --- If I Ever Loved You Driving With the Brakes On --- Be My Downfall No, Surrender
I think the choice of songs was great, starting with "Ready to Be", and the combination of old Del tracks with practically the whole new record was really compensated. The new songs sound great live ("Everyone I love" keeps getting better and better and "The Fight to Be Human" is completely overwhelming...). Justin played a beautiful red electric guitar (among other acoustics) and the band was really into it, more rockier than the last tour. They all seemed to enjoy a lot on stage! London's show was basically the same but with "In the Frame" (a request), "Nothing Ever Happens" and "Buttons on My Clothes"... I was told that he also played "Sleep Instead of Teardrops" in one of the other shows I didn't go to.... I'll try to post some pics in the next few days. I'm sure other fans also took photos and have videos so maybe we can put up some links here... Cheers! Cris
