Close circuit cameras in department stores...
01/14/05 at 06:01:19

Hey all.
Apologies for using the bulletin board for my own selfish questions, but went to Dels' gig in Liverpool a couple of years ago and bought a kick-ass tour t-shirt... have been searching ebay, Amazon etc. for the last year or so trying to find anywhere that would sell similar or same for the other tours, or even for the same tour... anyone know anywhere?

Are Push Posters still around?  They used to be the best source of that kind of thing....

Other than that, you're probably at the right place and seeing if anyone here has a spare they would like to sell.  And keep an eye on eBay, they could come up occaisonally.

Fortunately I am undignified as well as forgetful and take no shame from inspiring sympathy in strangers.

you appear to have received a double helping of sympathy!

I'm not proud either, I've read this thread a couple of times now and i still don't understand what the title of this thread's got to do with anything. Yes, I know its from a song but we could all quote random lines from songs, whats it got to do with finding tour t shirts??

Maybe it is a test? He will only take advice from posters who can correctly figure out the Del reference?

sorry about that, a spot of red mist descended there for a minute or two. I slapped myself around the face with a wet fish and I'm fine now.

Woohoo! Not a guest any longer!!

Okay, determined to only post messages once this time.

Hayley/Welshgirl - re: the title of the thread... yes, fine, I CONFESS! Despite Mr.Floyd's admirable efforts to justify it on my behalf, it has absolutely nothing to do with t-shirts, I was just trying to come up with a vaguely del-related title so I didn't sound like a total newbie.

Evidently I failed, and yes, I shall go and cry quietly in a corner somewhere... Embarrassed

Oh, and have actually been thinking about buying shares in House of Fraser... hmm...

You don't get what?  Why the title of the thread was used (Caroline's confusion) or where it comes from (my confusion)?

OK.

Caroline's query was answered along the lines that he wanted to show he knew something about Del Amitri to not seem like a newbie and he did this by quoting a line from Nothing Ever Happens. It took me a little bit of time to recognise where the quote came from (which was the source of my confusion)... but I feel so much better because you still, it seems, didn't figure it out. Ta.  Kiss

I see.  Now that is an occasion where quotation marks should have been used.

I am forever greatful that you concluded this who's on first of a thing. I was wondering what the connection was but either pride or a lack of desire to condemn one's poor choice of title, prevented me from querying.

Now, I'm lead by my fleshly desire to get out of the balcony just in case they send out tickets for those near the "sound board" or "on the bus". I want to be in that number.
