Just found out that this little f*g is in my town in June playing a gig.

I would not go if he were playing in my office.

Got my tickets to see him in Atlanta in August.   Cheesy  Best friend is going with me.  (Wouldn't come see Justin, wouldn't go see Teddy, but Rufus she said yes to.  Not entirely lost, her.)

Driving around singing "Going to a Town" the other day.  It really is a theme song for anyone disaffected with that arse Dubya and the Christian right.  Which would be me.   Cool

I love the fact he called it a breakup song in that interview. I am breaking up with a country that I love. Can't live with it, can't live without it at this point and don 't know what I'm gonna do about it either. Am making moves, in fits and starts, bit like a two step on acid, LOL! How did it come to this?

Just in case any of you are a teeny bit interested, Rufus is on telly tonight doing the Judy Garland tribute concert I went to at the Palladium on Channel 4 at 11.55pm.

Well, just finished watching it and thought the editing was very odd.

I know they had about 120 minutes to get into just over an hour but it seemed to ruin the whole flow of the thing.  At one point he was introducing a song with his jacket on and the next minute he was singing without it on...!

It was great to see it it all in close up though.  There were a few shots of the audience - I'll rewind it tomorrow and see if I can spot myself.

The Man Who Got Away was just as fab as I remember it.  Bit disappointed they didn't show Martha singing Someone To Watch Over Me...that really got to me on the night.

It's edited?  Not the whole thing??   Angry

I can understand editing some concerts, but this is a set piece, a reproduction of someone else's show.  It should all be there.

Now I'm going to pout and fume for awhile.  Not for the first time...
