Norwich
What a relief to get back to a some place where you can see the bar from the stage. On paper this venue should be a disaster but the people who run the UEA know what they are doing and make this place work for the bands and for the audience. There is an old Motorhead tour poster from the No sleep at all tour and a pair of pants with an address written on the gusset that were thrown at Robbie Williams framed on the walls of the dressing room. This immediately cheers us up. And after the last two nights in venues better suited to light opera we got a much needed lift from performing to the beer drinking throng packed into the place.
